What level of writing skills is required?

Only basic writing skills required. This informal workshop is for anyone who would like to express themselves creatively using writing as a medium for self-expression and exploration.

Who can attend the workshop?

Workshops are for residents of the London Borough of Southwark and those registered with a Southwark GP.

What can I expect from attending a workshop?

This is not an academic writing workshop. The aims is to improve attendees' wellbeing in three areas: confidence, creativity and self expression. Our creative workshops achieve this by providing everyone with the tools to explore their own experiences through the cathartic act of creative writing.

The workshops are facilitated by Wordsmiths - For Mental wellbeing, a creative writing tutor with years of experience working with groups with mental health needs.
