Since being elected as MP for Newbury in December 2019, I have wanted to welcome constituents to Parliament. I am delighted to say that now things are returning to normal I will be hosting regular tours for groups of constituents.
Tours are given by an expert guide and take approximately 75 minutes. The walking tour of the Palace of Westminster includes –
• Westminster Hall, the ancient hall at the heart of the Palace where Parliament first sat.
• The House of Commons, including the Speaker's Chair and the famous green benches.
• The House of Lords, including the Royal Throne.
• The Queen's Robing Room, Royal Gallery and many other fascinating parts of Parliament.
You will be part of a larger group tour from the constituency and will receive an email approximately 2 weeks before the tour with further details and exact timings.
It is advised that you aim to arrive at Parliament for 11 am, to allow up to 30 minutes to get through the airport-style security checks.
I will meet you during the visit to answer any questions you may have about my work as your MP.
