1.4 Awards of Brilliant Short-Form Filmmaking 2024

With over 900 entries and 60+ hours of fabulous content, our judges had their work cut out for them this year. Join us as we celebrate the Shortlist and medal winners at our 2024 Show and Awards Party at the Barbican Cinema & Conservatory with drinks, food, mingling and talking about what we all love most: fabulous filmmaking.

Doors will open at 6pm for Show + Awards Party ticketholders. Awards Party only ticketholders will be admitted at 9pm. Access is via the Silk Street entrance to Barbican.

Frequently asked questions

When do doors open?

Doors will open at 6pm for Show + Awards Party ticketholders. Awards Party only ticketholders will be admitted at 9pm. Access is via the Silk Street entrance to Barbican in both cases.

Will there be food at the event?

Yes! The event is being catered by the in-house restaurant team at Barbican. A selection of food options will be available for those attending the ceremony, with further drinks and nibbles at the afterparty in the Conservatory.

Is there a cloakroom?

Yes, there will be free cloakrooms available both next to the cinema and on the Conservatory level.

I've been Longlisted/Shortlisted. Do I need to buy a ticket to attend the Awards?

Congratulations! Tickets are not automatically assigned to Longlisted or Shortlisted directors, so you'll need to buy a ticket to attend the awards. The list of medal winners will be published on the site shortly after the Awards Ceremony.
