Guildhall

With its quiet, rural pace, finding events and things to do in Guildhall, VT often involves a short trip across the Connecticut River into New Hampshire's White Mountains. The neighboring towns of Lancaster, Whitefield, and Bethlehem offer a mix of professional theater, independent cinema, and community gatherings. Annual celebrations like the Lancaster Fair anchor the social calendar, complemented by seasonal farmers' markets and outdoor concerts.

• For a classic New England night out, downtown Lancaster's historic Main Street offers a mix of local shops and eateries before a film or show at The Colonial Theatre.
• The Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield presents a celebrated summer repertory season, featuring professional musicals and plays with a rotating schedule.
• Community life often centers around places like Centennial Park in Lancaster, which hosts a weekly farmers' market and outdoor concerts in its gazebo.
