Tom Bean

While Tom Bean offers a quiet, small-town pace, there are plenty of events and things to do in the greater Grayson County area. The town's community life centers on annual parades and markets, while the short drive to Sherman and Denison opens up a steady stream of live music, theater, and cultural festivals. The historic downtowns of these neighboring cities serve as hubs for everything from farmers markets to concert series and holiday celebrations.

• For a lively evening, head to Downtown Denison, a certified Music Friendly Texas community where venues like RedRock Saloon host regular live music and comedy nights.
• The cultural scene in Sherman is centered around its historic district, with theatrical productions at the Finley Theater and performances by the Sherman Symphony Orchestra at Kidd-Key Auditorium.
• Annual festivals define the local calendar, including Tom Bean's own Beanstock Food & Music Festival, Sherman's Autumn & Arts Fest, and Denison's Doc Holliday Saints and Sinners Festival.
