Perth

While Perth itself is quiet, there's a surprising number of events and things to do in the surrounding communities of Gloversville and Amsterdam. The scene is defined by community gatherings, from live music at historic theaters to seasonal festivals along the Amsterdam waterfront. Evenings often center on a single performance, while weekends bring out farmers markets and outdoor concerts.

• Plan an evening out in downtown Gloversville, where a show at the historic Glove Theatre can be paired with dinner at a nearby restaurant.
• Enjoy outdoor concerts and annual festivals like ItaliaFest and WinterFest at Riverlink Park on the Amsterdam waterfront.
• Catch intimate performances, from poetry to comedy, at Dorn Space or listen to local bands at breweries like Stump City Brewing.
