Clements

While Clements has a quiet, rural character, there is no shortage of events and things to do throughout the surrounding St. Mary's County. Much of the region's social life centers on Leonardtown, the county's designated Arts & Entertainment District. Local culture celebrates deep agricultural and maritime traditions through community gatherings and seasonal festivals.

In historic Leonardtown, the town square and waterfront create a natural circuit for an evening out, from a show at The REX Theatre to a tasting at the Port of Leonardtown Winery.
The local theatre scene thrives with full seasons of plays and musicals presented by The Newtowne Players in Lexington Park and the Port Tobacco Players in nearby La Plata.
Shepherd's Old Field Market serves as a unique community hub, offering a mix of artisan shopping, food from its beer garden, and live entertainment in a restored warehouse.
