Mount Hamilton

While life on Mount Hamilton itself moves at a quiet pace, the main pulse for events and things to do beats in nearby San Jose. The scene is centered around Downtown San Jose for major concerts and comedy, but daily life for many revolves around the distinct character of neighborhoods like Willow Glen or Japantown. A typical outing might start at a local farmers' market before shifting to the creative energy of the SoFA District for an art walk or live music.

• The creative heart of the region is the SoFA District, home to the monthly South FIRST FRIDAYS Art Walk and intimate music venues like The Ritz.
• Major touring acts and comedy shows often come through Downtown San Jose's larger venues, including the SAP Center and the historic San Jose Civic.
• For a more casual evening, San Pedro Square Market offers a bustling food hall atmosphere with live music happening seven days a week.
