Barnardo’s provide essential support to more than 11,500* children, young people, parents and carers in Scotland through more than 150 specialised community-based services and partnerships across the country. We work to ensure that every child has the best possible start in life.We help children and young people feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful, by directly supporting them and their families with specialist services across Scotland and the rest of the UK raising awareness and campaigning to change the way the system works for the better. We try and do this by making your voice heard in rooms where big decisions that affect the lives of children, young people and families are made. We produce briefings, reports, consultation responses and written evidence for the Scottish Parliament, Scottish Government and a whole range of public bodies.*2023 figures
