Sonic Arts Week! Yep, it's back from the27 June - 5 Julyand taking over the lively streets and public spaces of Middlesbrough. Curated by the team from The Auxiliary Project Space, SAW is your ticket to cranking up the volume.2025 is a packed week-long celebration of sound, art and music. Taking over Middlesbrough with a vibrant, jam-packed week of installations, performances, workshops, street interventions, roaming noise-makers and more.Over the years we’ve cruised down the River Tees with wireless headphone sets playing music made from the River Tees. We’ve created this using the vibrational sounds of the bridges along the Tees. We've transformed bikes into musical instruments that turn air quality into music and rocked lunchtime concerts at Centre Square. We’ve taken over captain Cook Square with a dance troupe DnB rave and had a giant sound horn wheeled around town.Best part?
