Offering emergency services, world-class cancer treatment, and surgical and primary care, Pelham Medical Center (PMC) is located at Westmoreland Road and Highway 14 in Greer, S.C. PMC is Greer’s only certified Primary Stroke Center. The 48-bed, acute-care facility includes emergency services, inpatient and observation care, intensive care rooms and areas with telemetry for monitoring cardiac patients. The medical center complex includes the Medical Office Building, the Surgery Center at Pelham and the Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute at Pelham. Pelham Medical Center was recognized three years in a row—2016, 2017 and 2018—as one of Modern Healthcare’s 100 companies and organizations named Best Places to Work in Healthcare. In 2018, Pelham Medical Center was recognized by Healthgrades as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for orthopaedic surgery.
