About the Nashville Jazz WorkshopFor two decades the Nashville Jazz Workshop (NJW) has presented, instructed and preserved the art of jazz in Music City, USA. Countless musicians, amateur to professional, and ardent jazz fans have expanded their skills and appreciation for this distinct American art form by playing in NJW ensembles and studying in NJW classrooms. Local and national jazz artists are presented in the Jazz Cave, an acclaimed listening room. As a nonprofit organization, NJW’s mission is to enrich people’s lives through jazz eduction and performance. Located in the Neuhoff Complex for the past 20 years, NJW is moving to a new home at 1012 Buchanan Street in 2021.
