The fundamental basis of Training X programs is that we know the more information community members have during an emergency, the calmer they are. The calmer community members are, the better the decisions they will make in an emergency for themselves, their families and their community.Through community conversations over the past five years, we observed a gap in education about why it is important to make an emergency plan - whilst there are many resources available that explain how, many community members don't understand why, and therefore had not acted.
