She has a Master of Arts in Counseling and skillfully interweaves humanistic person centered counseling skills into the growth process of system transformation, racial healing, and the practical application of equity and anti-oppression tools.She has a special expertise in homeless crisis response with 15+ years of direct experience serving those living through homelessness in Pierce County, developing and implementing equitable homeless response programs, funding and providing technical assistance to homeless response systems across the state of Washington, and overcoming the lived experience of homelessness herself as a young adult working shelter in Tacoma.
