ACT II's Pleasance Takeover

ACT II aims to bridge the gap between London's student theatre and the industry. We create spaces, opportunities, and communities where young artists can learn about the theatre industry, access a community of fellow emerging creatives, and test out new ideas. As well as our brand new training programs and workshop opportunities, ACT II Creates and Play In A Day, we host a monthly networking event, ACTOut for emerging theatre makers in London to connect with one another in a pressure free environment. Every Spring Term (January - April) ACT II runs its student festival. This is a chance for student playwrights, directors, and performers to work with individuals from a different place of study to their own to make a short piece of new theatre. As part of the student festival, ACT II hosts an exciting program of industry-led workshops, Q&As, and mentoring.
