Eventbrite Transforms Any Android Phone Into a Mobile Box Office

The Eventbrite Organizer app for Android allows event organizers to easily sell more tickets and access their event sales data in real-time

San Francisco, Calif. — September 19, 2016 — Eventbrite, the world’s largest event technology platform, which powers over two million events around the globe each year, today released the Eventbrite Organizer app for Android. The sophisticated solution keeps pace with the non-stop schedule of an event organizer, ensuring they make the best decisions about their event with real-time visibility into ticket sales. In addition, it enables organizers to sell more tickets by using their Android devices to process ticket sales from anywhere through the Organizer app, and effortlessly check in attendees with one, quick scan.

“We created the Eventbrite Organizer app with one vision in mind: to let our savvy, on-the-go organizers stay on top of ticket sales, accept fast and secure payments at the door, and scan digital tickets to admit attendees with record speed,” said Laurent Sellier, VP of Product at Eventbrite. “We’re thrilled that this sophisticated app, with all the ease of use Eventbrite is famous for, is now available on both Android and iOS, empowering event organizers regardless of their preferred mobile device.”

The Eventbrite Organizer app for Android is free, optimized for Android 4.4 and above, and available now in the Google Play store. Key capabilities include:

– Monitor real-time ticket sales, trends and attendance from the event dashboard.
– Accept fast, secure payments for tickets from anywhere.
– Edit event and ticket information on the go.
– Get attendees into events faster with reliable ticket scanning and guest check-in.
– Process customer requests from anywhere, including ticket reissues, cancellations, and refunds.
– Easily adjust lighting of app with the day or night feature.

Eventbrite Organizer is especially valuable to venue owners and operators, who now have the power to control traditional brick-and-mortar box office functions with a tap on their mobile devices, and set up additional sales terminals as needed onsite.

Dede Flemming, Founder of Lightning in a Bottle Music Festival said, “I’m on the Eventbrite Organizer app every day. It can break down sales by hour, day, week, or month so I know exactly what’s going on at all times with our sales. If we send an email blast out, I can see the immediate reaction on the app.”

The Eventbrite Organizer app on Android will replace the company’s previous Entry Manager app. Eventbrite also offers accessories compatible with the app, including a credit card reader, a printer, and ticket stock. The ability to sell via credit card is available in the U.S. with offline payment methods, including cash, check, and others, available globally.
