Eventbrite Names Lorrie Norrington to Its Board of Directors
SAN FRANCISCO, CA–(Marketwired – April 10, 2015) – Eventbrite, the global marketplace for live experiences, today announced the appointment of Lorrie Norrington to its board of directors. In addition to Eventbrite, Norrington is a board member of DIRECTV, Autodesk and Hubspot. Previously, Norrington served on the boards of directors at Lucasfilm, Mcafee and Shopping.com.

Norrington has held executive positions at high-growth technology companies for more than 30 years. She was the President of eBay marketplaces in 39 countries and ran eBay’s international business before global eBay Marketplaces. Prior to eBay, Norrington was the CEO of Shopping.com and an Executive Vice President at Intuit, responsible for the Small Business Division, including Quicken and QuickBooks brands. Prior to her career in Silicon Valley, she spent 20 years at General Electric in a variety of general management positions, including CEO of GE FANUC Automation. Norrington earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland College Park, and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
