Eventbrite Names Katherine August-deWilde to its Board of Directors

San Francisco, Calif. – Eventbrite, the world’s largest self-service ticketing and registration platform, today announced the appointment of Katherine August-deWilde to its board of directors. August-deWilde is the vice chair of the board of directors for First Republic Bank, where she’s been an executive since its inception in 1985. In addition to Eventbrite, August-deWilde is a board member of First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC), Sunrun (Nasdaq:RUN), TriNET (NYSE:TNET), and Equilar (private).

August-deWilde has spent the last three decades as a financial services executive. Prior to her role as vice chair of the board of directors at First Republic Bank, August-de-Wilde served as President (2007-2015), and was the company’s initial CFO (1985-1987). She was appointed to the board of directors in 1988. In these roles, August-deWilde focused on building a distinctive business and trusted brand, fostering a culture of excellence through employee empowerment and an intense focus on client service. Over the course of her career at First Republic, she helped drive the bank through two IPOs, an acquisition and a divestiture, and successfully scaled the company to achieve annual growth in enterprise value in excess of 20% per year for more than 30 years.
