Eventbrite Expands Social Commerce Platform with New Event Management Features
Event intelligence, analytics and reporting capabilities give event organizers even more tools for making their events wildly successful
The new event management tools include reporting, analytics and insights for organizers to, for the first time, have a highly accessible window into information such as:
- Attendee Information: View “hotspot” attendance by attendee’s geographic location, organize answers to any survey questions asked, and other attendee demographics that can enable the organizer to cater to specific needs;
- Ticketing and Registration Information: Registration page traffic, sales by ticket type, sales revenue over time, discount code usage;
- Attendance Trends: Attendance by arrival time-of-day, attendance vs. no-shows.
These key reporting metrics give event organizers the power, intelligence and insight to execute successful events, no matter the size or scale.
“We started Eventbrite with the simple premise of giving organizers incredibly easy to use online tools to manage every aspect of an event. In just a few years, Eventbrite has powered more than 200,000 events of all type and size while providing the transaction engine for more than $100 million of tickets,” said Kevin Hartz, co-founder and CEO of Eventbrite. “Event organizers are adopting Eventbrite faster than we ever thought possible and we’re thrilled to introduce this new set of management capabilities to further enable and empower our customers to host amazing, sold out events.”
“BlogHer has been happy we made the switch to Eventbrite to support our conference series this past year,” said Elisa Camahort Page, co-founder and COO, BlogHer Inc. “We were pretty excited to hear about the new features they were adding to their reporting and analytic capabilities for 2010, and I’m impressed that they’ve delivered exactly the features they promised – and we needed – ahead of schedule!”
