Eventbrite Adds Marquee Promoters and Venues to Expanding Roster of Music Partners

Margin Walker Presents, PopGun Presents’ Elsewhere, and Lincoln Hall/Schubas are among the latest industry influencers to partner with leading event technology platform

San Francisco, Calif. — July 14, 2016 — Eventbrite, the world’s largest event technology platform which powers two million events around the globe each year, today announced the addition of Margin Walker Presents, PopGun Presents’ Elsewhere, and Lincoln Hall/Schubas to its expanding roster of high-profile promoters and venues.

A proven leader in innovation, Eventbrite has spent a decade building best-in-class technology solutions to meet the complex needs of a variety of customers. With its recent acquisition of the industry-leading, Queue technology platform, the company is further demonstrating its commitment to drive back-office efficiency and help streamline the workflow for venues and promoters.

“These rooms and promoters are cornerstones of their communities and the relationship between venues and the fans who fill them is a sacred one that we take very seriously,” said Greg Patterson, Head of Music at Eventbrite and Co-Founder of Queue. “With the amount of consolidation taking place in the industry, we’re thrilled to partner with some of the best indie promoters and venues in the live events space. We look forward to delivering a superior experience for their fans and an integrated solution for their businesses – from managing the booking process to selling tickets to getting attendees in the room for shows.”

Margin Walker Presents (Texas)

Recently launched by Graham Williams – the co-founder of Transmission Events and Fun Fun Fun Fest – the new full-service promotions, creative events, and marketing company manages bookings for more than a dozen prominent regional music venues like Mohawk, Sidewinder, and Barracuda in Austin and Paper Tiger in San Antonio.

“We evaluated a long list of potential partners and Eventbrite consistently impressed us with its technology and innovative ability to solve the complex needs of venues and festivals,” said Graham Williams, Founder of Margin Walker Presents. “We’re thrilled they have joined forces with Queue, whose industry-leading solutions have been critical in helping us successfully run multiple venues and festivals and look forward to working with the entire Eventbrite team to take all of our events to the next level.”

PopGun Presents’ Elsewhere (New York)

Built by the team at PopGun Presents, the concert production and venue management company behind Glasslands Gallery, Elsewhere is an independent music venue and arts space housed in a 24,000+ sq ft. converted warehouse in Brooklyn. The Bushwick room, which will feature progressive music programming and risk-taking visual art, is slated to open fall 2016.

“We evaluated ticketing partners based on their technological capability, strength of marketing support, and what kind of experience they would create for our audiences,” said Dhruv Chopra, Partner and Head of Operations at PopGun Presents. “We are confident in Eventbrite as a reliable long-term partner that will be able to continue innovating while keeping our community happy.”

Lincoln Hall/Schubas (Chicago)

Two of Chicago’s most revered music clubs have also joined the Eventbrite family. Lincoln Hall, which hosts some of today’s most popular acts and its sister venue, Schubas, an inviting, intimate music room known for offering an eclectic mix of live music from rock to country to funk and jazz, will both begin selling tickets on Eventbrite later this month.

“These venues are an iconic part of the Chicago music scene and it is extremely important to us that we create the absolute best experience for the fans who attend shows night-in and night-out,” said Adam Thurston, Director of Operations at Lincoln Hall and Schubas. “We wanted to work with a partner doing new and innovative things in this otherwise stagnant space and as we evaluated our numerous different options, it became clear that Eventbrite was exactly what we were looking for.”

Sound on Sound Festival (Texas)

Eventbrite, which has processed tens of millions of tickets to hundreds of thousands of music events, will also be the exclusive ticketing provider for Sound on Sound, a brand new three-day festival in Austin founded by Fun House Services and booked by Graham Williams’ Margin Walker Presents. Sound on Sound includes Beach House, Run the Jewels, Purity Ring, and Courtney Barnett as headliners and recently sold out of early bird tickets in under two hours. The Central Texas festival joins Eventbrite’s popular lineup, including BottleRock, Lightning in a Bottle, Eaux Claires, and WayHome Music Festival.
