bp Energy Outlook 2023 edition

Webinar, Thursday 8 June, 15:00-16:00

Energy Outlook 2023 considers the recent disruption to global energy supplies and associated impacts on global prices, and explores how this could affect the energy transition out to 2050.

Gareth Ramsay, Head of Energy Transition at bp, will discuss the key findings in this year’s report and the three main scenarios: Accelerated, Net Zero and New Momentum. There will also be an opportunity for questions and debate at the end of the session.

The Energy Outlook is produced to inform bp’s strategy and is published as a contribution to the wider debate about the factors shaping the energy transition. But the Outlook is only one source among many when considering the future of global energy markets and bp considers a wide range of other external scenarios, analysis and information when forming its long-term strategy. This year’s Outlook can be used to identify aspects of the energy transition that are common across the main scenarios. These trends help shape core beliefs about how the energy system may evolve over the next 30 years.
