How to customize your Eventbrite profile

Customizing your Eventbrite profile is a great way to show others the events you're interested in and attending. All profiles are private by default, and it's simple to add a profile image, change the name and/or make it public on the Eventbrite website and mobile app. From your Tickets page, just select "Edit Profile" to get started.

NOTE: The contact information entered on your eblink{Account Settings=>https://www.eventbrite.com/account} page appears on your Eventbrite profile. Also, your name and other information may already be filled in for you from previous registration(s) on Eventbrite.

1. Go to Tickets.

After you eblink{log in=>https://www.eventbrite.com/login target=_blank}, access the account menu, then select eblink{Tickets=>https://www.eventbrite.com/mytickets}.

TIP: You can also edit your Eventbrite profile from your Saved Events page.

2. Choose "Edit Profile."

Select "Edit Profile" to customize your Eventbrite profile.

TIP: You can still see your tickets and saved events by scrolling down.

3. Add a profile image.

You can drag and drop an image file, or click to choose an image from your computer. Choose the highest possible resolution of your image to ensure your photo looks good on your profile and on the eblink{Eventbrite app=>https://www.eventbrite.com/eventbriteapp} for eblink{iPhone=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=11000} and eblink{Android=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=11001}.

TIP: All images must be cropped into a 2:1 ratio (e.g., 800 x 400 px) to be best shown on your profile alongside basic information about your registrations. If you already uploaded a profile image, you can "Adjust" to the proper size or select "Remove" and add a new image.

PRO TIP: The maximum file size of a profile image to be uploaded is 10MB. You can decrease an image size with an image editor like eblink{PicMonkey=>http://www.picmonkey.com}. Your image must also be a JPEG, PNG, GIF, or BMP file type.

NOTE: We trust that the image and personal information in your Eventbrite profile are yours and and doesn't infringe with any third parties. Take a look at Section 8 of our eblink{Terms of Service=>https://www.eventbrite.com/tos} to learn more.

4. Crop your image.

A new window will appear, and all you have to do is click and hold to drag your image to the position you want. Once the image is set, select "Save Image" to complete the upload.

TIP: If you select "Cancel," the profile image won't be added and you'll have to re-upload your image.

PRO TIP: You can re-crop your profile image at any time by choosing "Adjust."

5. Optional: Edit your name.

Your name is already filled in for you from the first time you registered, but you can make changes if you want.

EXAMPLE: Damien made a typo in his name when registering, so he clicks in the text box to edit and correct the name on his Eventbrite profile.

NOTE: Changing the name on your Eventbrite profile also updates the name in your eblink{Account Settings=>https://www.eventbrite.com/account}.

6. Optional: Make your Eventbrite profile public.

Your profile is private by default, and you can hit the switch to make your profile public and show others the public events on Eventbrite you're attending and saved in your account.

TIP: You can change your privacy settings at any time and make your profile private or public.

PRO TIP: If you eblink{connected your Eventbrite account to Facebook=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3276}, your Facebook friends can still see which events you're attending even if you your profile is private. If you don't want your Facebook friends to see which events you're attending, head over to your eblink{Social Settings=>https://www.eventbrite.com/social-settings}, then uncheck the box next to "Show Friends what events I'm attending."

NOTE: By making your Eventbrite profile public, other Eventbrite users can view your profile on our website and on the eblink{Eventbrite app=>https://www.eventbrite.com/eventbriteapp} for eblink{iPhone=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=11000} and eblink{Android=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=11001}. Your order information as well as the links to manage your order and print tickets are not visible on your Eventbrite profile.

7. Save your changes.

Choose "Save" to update your Eventbrite profile. You're taken back to the to the "Tickets" tab where you'll see your customized profile.

TIP: You'll also see your profile image in the account menu at the top of the page.

8. Check out your Eventbrite profile.

Your Eventbrite profile can only be viewed when logging out, and you can see your updated profile information and upcoming public and saved events in the center of the Tickets page.

Log out of your Eventbrite account to view your profile. You'll see your updated profile information, and other Eventbrite users can only view your profile by visiting this page.
