How to apply for scheduled payouts

If your account qualifies and you're using eblink{Eventbrite Payment Processing=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4373} to collect payments, you can apply to receive payouts before your event(s) takes place! After you eblink{set up payout details=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4369} on your Payments & Payouts page, your event will be set up on our default payout schedule (single payout 5 days after your event), and you can hit "Apply Now" to request scheduled payouts either twice a month or once a week. We just need some additional information to help us identify you, and if approved, the payout schedule you choose will apply to all the events in your Eventbrite account.

NOTE: If you're already receiving payouts before your events and want to change your payout schedule, eblink{contact us=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/contact-us} with your account email address and the reason why you'd like to change your payout schedule. Our Payment Operations team will be able to assist.

1. Go to your Manage page.

After you eblink{log in=>https://www.eventbrite.com/login target=_blank} and eblink{create an event=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=5035}, find your event on the Manage Events page, then select "Manage".

2. Go to Set Payments & Payouts.

Set Payments & Payouts is located in the top of the menu.

TIP: If you already eblink{set up payout details for your event=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4369}, this button will be called "Payments & Payouts".

3. Add payout details (if you haven't already).

If you haven't already eblink{set up payout details for your event=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4369}, click "Add Payout Method" to set up direct deposit payouts.

NOTE: Don't see the option to apply for scheduled payouts? Make sure your payout method is set up for direct deposit payouts and not set to receive a check.

4. Click "Apply Now" (under Payout Schedule).

Once you've added payout information, you'll see your Payout Schedule on the Payments & Payouts page. By default, we'll start processing a single payout 5 days after the end date of your event. In the U.S., processing takes up to 5 bank days (7 bank days internationally). Hit "Apply Now" to request to receive payouts before your events take place.

NOTE: If your account doesn't qualify to receive payouts before the event, you won't see the Payout Schedule section on the Payments & Payouts page. We want to work with organizers to make sure scheduled payouts are available in the future. Also, be sure to eblink{set a refund policy=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=37687} and quickly eblink{respond to refund requests=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3399} that fall within your policy.

5. Select the payout schedule for all your events.

Decide how often you want to receive payouts. In the U.S., once payouts start to process, it takes up to 5 bank days (i.e., no weekends or holidays) until payouts show in your account. Internationally, it can take up to 7 bank days until payouts show in your account. You have 3 options available: • Single payout (Default): We'll start processing a single payout 5 days after your event's end date. • Twice a month: Schedule payouts start to process on the 1st and 15th of the month. • Every week: Schedule payouts to start to process weekly on Wednesdays. If your application is approved, the payout schedule you choose will be applied to all the events in your Eventbrite account that use eblink{Eventbrite Payment Processing=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4373}. Hit "Continue" once you've selected the payout schedule that works best for you.

EXAMPLE: Isabella needs the funds from her ticket sales before the event to help pay for venue expenses. She chooses "Twice a month" to schedule payouts to process on the 1st and 15th of each month before her event takes place. She collects in $USD and her bank is in the U.S., so she can expect to see her payout in her account within 5 bank days after the 1st and the 15th.

NOTE: Custom payout schedules outside of those offered are only available with eblink{Eventbrite Premium=>https://www.eventbrite.com/organizer/pricing}.

6. Fill out your application details.

To approve the application for your payout schedule, we'll need some additional information to help identify you. • Date of Birth • Contact Phone Number (be sure to include the area code, and don't use any spaces or dashes) • Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) Once you've filled out each field, click "Continue" to submit your application for scheduled payouts.

TIP: Some of this information will already be filled in.

PRO TIP: When entering an Employer Identification Number (EIN) and Organization Name, you'll still need to provide the information above as the preparer of the application to receive scheduled payouts for the Eventbrite account.

7. Your application for scheduled payouts will be immediately reviewed.

We'll quickly review your application and let you know if you're approved for scheduled payouts. Click "Finish" to return to the Payments & Payouts page.

8. View your approved payout schedule on the Payments & Payouts page.

You'll see your approved payout schedule on the Payments & Payouts page. Remember that this payout schedule applies to all events in your Eventbrite account that use eblink{Eventbrite Payment Processing=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4373}. Make sure to click "Save" to save the changes to your payout schedule.

9. Check out your payout limit in the confirmation email from Eventbrite.

You'll receive an email from Eventbrite confirming your payout schedule. Please note that there is a limit on scheduled payouts per account at any time.

TIP: Having trouble finding the email from Eventbrite? Search your inbox for an email with the subject line "Your payouts are scheduled," and make sure to check your Spam folder.

NOTE: The payout schedule you choose applies at an account level. Any events in your account that use Eventbrite Payment Processing will have the selected payout schedule in effect, and all amounts paid out before your first scheduled payout won't count towards the payout limit.

10. See your upcoming payouts.

You can see the status of your payouts from the Payouts Summary on your Account Settings page.

You'll start receiving payouts based on the payout schedule you selected, and you can eblink{see the status of your payouts=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4374} from your eblink{Payouts Summary=>https://www.eventbrite.com/myaccount/payouts/}. Direct deposits can take up to 5 bank days to show up in U.S. accounts (up to 7 bank days for non-U.S. accounts).

EXAMPLE: Isabella wants to reconcile the payout that started processing on March 15. She considers the following: • Her ticket price is set to $10. • Her event is using Eventbrite Payment Processing. • The Eventbrite Service Fee is $2.24 and the Eventbrite Payment Processing Fee is $0.30 — making the fee $2.54 per ticket sold. • She's passing the Eventbrite Service Fee and Eventbrite Payment Processing Fee on to attendees (attendees pay $10 + $2.54 = $12.54 per ticket). • Between March 1 and March 14, 500 tickets are purchased. • Gross sales between March 1 and March 14 equal $6,270.00 [ 500 x (10 + 2.54) ] (number of tickets sold x total attendees paid per ticket). • Total fees for ticket sales between March 1 and March 14 equal $1270 [ 500 x 2.54 ] (number of tickets sold x fee per ticket sold). Isabella confirms the payout that started on March 15 equals $5,000 [ 6,270 - 1270 ] (gross sales - total fees).

NOTE: Your selected payout schedule only applies to an event until it ends. Any funds remaining after the event ends will pay out 5 days after the event end date.
