Stephen Olshefsky
My specialty lies in all things related to sex, sexuality, gender affirmation, and intimacy. As a sex-positive practitioner, I see sex as a vibrant, healthy part of being human—something to be explored with curiosity, joy, and openness. Whether you're navigating fantasies, relationships, kink, intimacy, erotic desires, or the edges of taboo, there is space here to talk, feel, and explore without shame. Sex can become even more layered when you identify as LGBTQ2+. We live outside the framework of heteronormative culture—and often within the expectations of a homonormative one.
Our sexuality is not pathological. It is personal. It is powerful. It is ours. Sex is meant to be fun—let’s keep it that way.
But life, like sex, can be messy. Depression, anxiety, grief, loneliness, and relationship struggles affect us all. When you're part of a marginalized or misrepresented community, these challenges can carry added weight. Having support that truly understands the nuances of our homonormative lives can make all the difference in feeling seen, accepted, and whole. That’s where I come in. As a seasoned, affirming professional, I’m here to walk with you—through the questions, the joy, the mess, and the meaning.
I provide a safe, supportive, and affirming space for individuals across the spectrum of gender and sexual diversity. My practice is grounded in a sex-positive framework, where sexuality is viewed as a natural, healthy, and enriching part of life.
I specialize in working with issues related to sex, intimacy, identity, and gender affirmation. Sessions may explore topics such as desire, kink, relationships, emotional well-being, and navigating life within and beyond heteronormative and homonormative pressures.
In addition to sexual health, I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, loneliness, and relational challenges. Together, we work toward building emotional insight, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of meaning and connection.
