Mission: The Centre for Informatics and Computing is a research unit of the Ruđer Bošković Institute dedicated to providing scientific support to researchers and the business sector, as well as advancing research in high-performance computing (HPC) and parallel and distributed computing.

The center’s primary research focuses on developing and and optimizing scientific applications and codes for distributed computing environments, such as computer clusters and supercomputers, with applications spanning natural sciences, biotechnology, medicine, and technical sciences.

The Center offers extensive scientific support to both academia and industry through various initiatives, including the organization of seminars and workshops, facilitating knowledge transfer in the HPC field, providing access to advanced computing infrastructure, co-developing scientific and industrial HPC codes, and analyzing and testing computational codes on HPC systems.
