Rooted in Community And What!

Rooted in Community, and What! is led by 3 Latina professionals: Cindy Pineda, Jessica Vazquez and Stacy Maldonado.

They launched this initiative in an effort to support their communities to form a more genuine connection at a time when most of our interactions are virtual.

This is a series of interactive zoom calls that will enable people in our circles to build community in virtual times. We’ve identified a theme for each day of the week:

• Movement Monday’s
• How To Tuesday’s’
• Yummy Wednesday’s
• Thoughtful Thursday’s
• Community Friday’s

The main goal is for all the zoom calls to be intimate, interactive, fun, and conducive to building community as opposed to a webinar where the participants don’t get to engage with the speaker or with each other. Our focus is to provide a platform to uplift the talents and voices of people of color, and share it with everyone.
