Robert Sickler, Cask Strength Consulting
Robert Sickler organizes spirited events and educational seminars that pay homage to quality artisanal distillates made with passion and integrity from around the globe. He's worked in the spirits industry for over 30 years as server and bartender, distributor salesperson, brand ambassador, beverage director, bar owner and spirits consultant. Robert is the southeast U.S. regional manager for ImpEx Beverages and a licensed partner with the Whisky Ambassador, the UK's only accredited whisky training course.
Before his career in spirits, Robert taught literature and composition. His passion for wine and spirits prompted him to change course. He became a passionate veteran of the wine and spirits industry, crafting cocktails, studying wine, hosting spirited dinners throughout the land before becoming a Master of Whisky for international drinks company Diageo. Next he established Finn's Manor, a whisky, mezcal and rum-centered cocktail bar and food truck pod in Denver, Colorado. The cocktails paid homage to Scotland, the Caribbean, southeast Asia and New Orleans, places which inspired Robert throughout his food and drinks journey.
He is now back in his home state of Florida, relishing sunshine, beaches, nature and wildlife.
