Our Story

The LIGHT Movement (Love in Grief, Held Together) was started by a group of volunteers in the fall of 2023, with the intention to let those grieving know that they are not alone.

LIGHT recently became a non-profit. Our board and volunteers recognize that no one is immune from grief and that our fellow humans – and our entire world – are grieving. Therefore, we must learn how to work with grief and grow because of it.
