“Ilarun” is the Yoruba name for an indigenous hair parting comb, a tool that has been foundational to the creation and maintenance of Black hairstyles for centuries.

ILARUN was born out of the desire to be a tool for the Black community. To help bring Black hairstylists and clients together on a platform carefully designed to meet their unique needs. And to create a space that uplifts the generational yet timeless history of Black hair in an authentic, streamlined way.
