Caroline Mwangi

I am a PhD candidate at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University, currently conducting research on the topic of ‘An Analysis of Anti-Female Genital Mutilation Laws in Kenya and the Impact of FGM on the Best Interests of the Child’. In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as a Case Worker at the Nottingham Muslim Women’s Network. My goal is to organise impactful events that bring attention to critical issues impacting girls and women, such as gender-based violence and access to justice for these marginalised groups.
