Day Leadership Academy

In a time when the world can feel overwhelming and uncertain, one important question rises above the noise: What about our children? Youth Unity STL Events was created from a deep commitment to the emotional well-being, leadership development, and sense of belonging our young people need right now. As adults navigate complex challenges, it’s critical that we intentionally create spaces where youth feel supported, connected, and inspired to grow into thoughtful, service-minded leaders.

This event is a first step—bringing students together around a shared purpose: unity, positive connection, and youth leadership. When young people gather in uplifting environments, they build friendships, strengthen their voices, and learn that leadership starts with caring for others and doing what’s right simply because it’s right.

This event is a partnership between Day Leadership Academy and Chicken N Pickle, and the concept originates from Blacks in Independent Schools STL, whose mission is to create intentional spaces where students from all backgrounds join forces to stand against hate, racism, and disparities while building meaningful community.

Youth and families are invited to come ice skate, play games, enjoy music, and spend time together in a welcoming, high-energy space designed just for them.
