Hosted by the Fort Lauderdale Community Development Corporation (FLCDC), this signature event brings together residents, business leaders, and community champions for a memorable afternoon featuring live entertainment, special guest appearances, and recognition of legendary voices in broadcasting who have helped shape our community.
This year’s celebration will feature a live performance and special appearance by legendary entertainer Melba Moore, along with our 2026 Broadcast Trailblazer Awards, honoring iconic radio personalities whose work has uplifted and informed the South Florida community.
Beyond the celebration, the event supports a powerful mission. Proceeds benefit FLCDC’s affordable housing and community engagement initiatives, including:
• Providing and preserving affordable housing for income-restricted families
• Supporting resident services such as food assistance and health screenings
• Strengthening neighborhoods through community development and outreach programs
FLCDC currently provides affordable rental housing for families in Fort Lauderdale while continuing to expand opportunities for safe, stable housing and community support services.
