Keith Willard
Keith Willard is the owner of Keith Willard Events, a Broward-based event planning company working “from concept to completion,” for social, business, and non-profit occasions. He is also host of the weekly live podcast, Behind The Veil. His expertise has created everything from intimate dinners with a private chef to parties with thousands of participants for a gala at Madame Tussauds in London. He even created a ‘backyard barbecue’ for Mark Cuban’s 40th birthday party that included a private concert by John Mellencamp. Keith’s recent clients include the duty-free company / 3Sixty as well as Heesen Yachts, Roger Dubois watches and hundreds of brides. Keith was the Director of Catering for Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour and One Bal Harbour. He was the senior catering manager for Hyatt Pier 66; as well as a lead designer for Feature Presentations in Dallas, Texas. Those experiences help him negotiate with hotels and private venues, to ensure a smooth experience for all sides. Keith is an honorary Plank owner on the Navy’s Arleigh Burke-class destroyer the USS Jason Durham, bestowed upon him by the Navy at the commissioning of the ship. He is the Immediate Past President of NACE (National Association of Catering and Events) and continues to work as their social director. Keith is the recipient of numerous awards including being inducted into the Wedding Hall of Fame – The Knot, Best of Weddings from the Knot, Couples Choice Award from Wedding Wire, Best Planners in South Florida from Party Slate, Top Ten Planners from Modern Luxury Wedding Magazine, The ONE Award for best event and Innovator Of The Year from NACE (the National Association of Catering & Events), as well as a published contributor for the NY times, Parade Magazine, US News & World Report, BRIDES Magazine, Style Me Pretty, The Knot, and many more.
