Sombrero Festival, Ltd.

Sombrero Festival is a nonprofit, three-day community celebration held annually at Washington Park in Brownsville, Texas during Charro Days.

Since 1986, the festival has brought the Rio Grande Valley together through live entertainment, food, cultural events, family activities, and friendly competitions that celebrate the traditions and spirit of our region.

Proceeds from Sombrero Festival support local scholarships and community programs, helping students and families throughout our area. Join us each year to celebrate culture, community, and South Texas pride.
