By South Texas Alliance for Orphans

Overview

Learn how to help children heal, grow, and thrive through trauma-informed care!

Trauma has a profound impact on children’s lives. As caregivers in any capacity, we can serve children and families better by understanding how trauma shapes behavior, shifting our perspective, and using practical tools to create safe, healing environments.

This training is designed for parents, teachers, church volunteers, and anyone who works with children, whether for an hour a week or in a full-time caregiving role.

What You’ll Learn:✔️ How trauma affects a child’s brain and behavior✔️ A new perspective on challenging behaviors✔️ Practical strategies to build trust, connection, and resilience✔️ Tools to help children regulate emotions and succeed
