Wanrooij Gallery in Amsterdam presents The Show of Value, an international group exhibition featuring Fajar Amali, OGGZGOY, RYO Laksamana (Ryol), Sunjana Kencut, and Raider.

Four leading Indonesian artists meet Dutch artist Raider in a powerful visual dialogue exploring value, identity, and culture. Paintings, drawings, and sculptures converge in an expressive and conceptual exchange.

Cultural dialogue as a reflection of value

The Show of Value brings together the vibrant energy of Indonesia’s contemporary art scene with Raider’s European perspective. The participating artists reflect on how meaning and value are formed — in art, in materials, and in people.

RYO Laksamana (Ryol) returns to Amsterdam

Indonesian artist RYO Laksamana (Ryol) returns to Amsterdam, where his work is part of the STRAAT Museumcollection. Ahead of the exhibition, he will create a new mural in the city, initiated by curator David Roos.

Anniversary exhibition

The Show of Value is a highlight in the 20th anniversary year of Wanrooij Gallery. Since its founding in 2005, the gallery has offered an international platform where artists from different cultures meet in a shared pursuit of meaning and innovation.

Wanrooij Gallery in Amsterdam de internationale groepstentoonstelling The Show of Value, met werk van Fajar Amali, OGGZGOY, RYO Laksamana (Ryol), Sunjana Kencut en Raider.

Vier toonaangevende kunstenaars uit Indonesië ontmoeten de Nederlandse kunstenaar Raider in een krachtige visuele dialoog over waarde, identiteit en cultuur. Schilderijen, tekeningen en sculpturen komen samen in een expressieve en conceptuele uitwisseling.

The Show of Value verbindt de bloeiende energie van de Indonesische kunstscene met het Europese perspectief van Raider. De kunstenaars reflecteren op hoe betekenis en waarde ontstaan — in kunst, materiaal en mens.

RYO Laksamana (Ryol) terug in Amsterdam

De Indonesische kunstenaar RYO Laksamana (Ryol) keert terug naar Amsterdam, waar zijn werk deel uitmaakt van de collectie van het STRAAT Museum. In aanloop naar de tentoonstelling creëert hij een nieuwe mural in de stad, mogelijk gemaakt door curator David Roos.

Jubileumtentoonstelling

The Show of Value vormt een hoogtepunt in het 20-jarig jubileumjaar van Wanrooij Gallery. Sinds 2005 biedt de galerie een internationaal podium waar kunstenaars uit verschillende culturen samenkomen in een zoektocht naar betekenis en vernieuwing.

“Waarde ontstaat pas wanneer ze gedeeld wordt.” Dat is de kern van The Show of Value én van twintig jaar Wanrooij Gallery.
