The Pulse of Heritage - Ethno-Dance Movement Workshop
Munir brings a deeply personal approach to dance exploration; rooted in his origins, nature, and ethnicity. Where participants will immerse themselves in a physical and expressive journey through three phases of activation: bodily, animal, and festive.
The session begins with a warm-up focused on muscular activation and mobility, preparing the body for deep physical and sensory engagement. Next, participants will explore key principles of animal movement and release technique; connecting to primal movement patterns, instinct, and embodied presence. From there, the body will be invited to release and vibrate to the rhythms of Latinx and SWANA music, entering a phase of dynamic, rhythmic, and joyful liberation. Culminating in a collective festive, playful, and creative atmosphere.
