Unlike every other comedy show you've ever been to, The Comedy Shuffle never has bad jokes.
"That's impossible."
NAY!
At The Comedy Shuffle, a comic (any comic) does jokes while a seasoned comic (also lit and w/ a mic) interrupts them. If their joke doesn't initially work, the Shuffler's burns do.
The Shuffler can end their set at any time (if it's not going well), or let the comic go a little longer to find some brand new material (in a supportive, but accountable atmosphere).
It's not mean. It's not. Okay. It's a little mean. But, it's fun and constructive too.
The show is in the basement for 1802 Adams Mill Road Apt B. Under the starbucks. Every Sunday at 7pm. Doors at 6:30pm. List out at 6pm.

Organizer of The Comedy Shuffle (Stand-up with Live Color Commentary)
Capital Laughs is a different take on independent comedy show production. We have a whole bunch of folks who host and produce comedy shows across DC. Our mission is to contribute to and cultivate a thriving, diverse DC arts scene. We are all producers, but we're comics first.
We produce 11 weekly free shows and All-Star Friday showcases. Get away from your kids, your school work or even just your annoying siginifcant other and join us for laughs when we best fit in.
Comics who have performed on our shows have also been seen on HBO, NBC, Comedy Central, TBS, the DC Improv, Magooby's Joke House, the Montreal Comedy Festival, and many other just as cool places. Some have Comedy Central Half Hours; many have albums they're working on. A few are also new--you gotta start somewhere.
