About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

This program is open to all and all ages.

Join The Job Forum (sponsored by the SF Chamber of Commerce, AbbVie, and Google) for a zoom workshop and Q&A session to help you ace the most commonly asked interview or internship question: “Tell me about Yourself.”

If you want to talk comfortably about yourself – in a confident positive manner - without sounding “braggy” or self- absorbed, this event is for you!

The session will be presented by career coach, Laura Paradise. The founder of the Interview Club, Laura has hired and coached hundreds of successful job candidates.

You will get resources with model formats to answer the question.

You will get practice and feedback answering the question yourself.

Key topics will include:

  • Do’s and don’ts!
  • How to be interesting
  • How to distinguish yourself from other candidates
  • How to capture attention and be memorable
  • How to speak with energy and enthusiasm
  • How to connect to the interviewer
  • How to be concise
  • Q&A

Sign up with Eventbrite and once you are confirmed we will send you the Zoom link & password 1 hour prior to the event.
