Tales in Tiles - Craft with The Ocean
Come join us for a creative workshop at World Ocean Day 2025!
In this workshop, you are invited to reflect on your relationship with the ocean through the gentle rhythms of crafting tiles from ocean materials. This process offers an opportunity for approaching emotions of grief and hope through self-expression as a way of fostering meaningful, lasting relationships between humans and the more-than-human world. It is a moment to slow down and to connect directly with the ocean, using tile-making as a way to share stories. It is a collaborative act, not solely human nor more-than-human, but a shared endeavor between you and the ocean materials.

- Wear comfortable clothes—you might get a little messy, and we’ll be taking a short walk as part of the experience.
