Behind every successful startup is a strong co-founder partnership — and that starts with clear conversations and solid agreements. 💪

Join us for a hands-on session on co-founder alignment, led by legal experts from Mace, a law firm specialized in navigating founders through the legal maze. They’ll explore how early-stage founders can build a sustainable collaboration — from fairly dividing equity and responsibilities to setting out clear terms in a solid co-founder agreement. They'll go over all the topics every start-up should address early on — including decision-making, share transfer arrangements, vesting and leaver scenarios, non-compete obligations, and intellectual property — while providing practical insights to prevent (and, if necessary, resolve) future conflicts. This workshop helps founders lay the groundwork for growth, investment, and long-term success through the right conversations, structure, and agreements.

Then, we’ll get real with a panel of imec.istart founders who’ve been through the trenches of finding the right co-founder, aligning visions, and surviving the tough talks. Joined by Mace experts and our own legal guru Katrijn, this is your chance to ask questions, hear the real stories, and get inspired.
