About this event
Rebecca Code Explorers for Girls (Rebecca CoderDojo) is back in person at Minneapolis College
Rebecca Code Explorers is a safe and fun learning program for girls-only, ages 8-17, to explore coding.
Students under 13
Parents—if one or more of your children are under 13, you must remain onsite at Rebecca Code Explorers for the duration of the event. There is a nice lounge area near the event room for parents to use. We appreciate your cooperation!
If you’re under 13, a parent or guardian must register for you.
Location & Parking
The event will take place in the T building on level three in room T3000 and will begin promptly at 1:30pm. The room is not easy to find so please look at the campus map and T building map carefully. Also be sure to allow yourself extra time for parking and finding the room. Street parking (i.e., meter parking) around MCTC is typically free on Saturdays (be sure to double check!); otherwise, there is a parking ramp directly west of the T building and connected through the skyway. The cost is typically $5 for the day. Several public transit options are available; please check MetroTransit for the latest schedules.

About the organizer
Rebecca CoderDojo is a safe and fun learning program for girls (ages 8-16) to explore coding. This program is a Code Savvy initiative in memory of Rebecca Schatz, founder and former executive director of Code Savvy, for her lasting inspiration to encourage all of us, especially kids, to explore technology and be our own innovators.
