You are formally invited to participate in the final North End Community Resource Center(NCRC) information and design session. The NCRC is an interdisciplinary collaborative project that positions socially engaged design at the core of comprehensive community planning and development. It is an effort that aims to prototype a community anchored design resource center. Our goal is to create a repository of research and best practices that showcase innovative methods in equitable development, to archive information, and host programs that strengthen the social, physical, and economic fabric of communities.

Join us on Thursday, February 16th at Cocoon Detroit, a collaborative workspace dedicated to urban transformations and the equitable redevelopment of Detroit. We will be joined by the College for Creative Studies, as well as other supportive anchor institutions as we collectively engage in community led development in the North End. The meeting will begin at 5:30pm, light food and refreshments will be provided, we will also draw the names of 10 attendees to win gift cards as a token of our appreciation of your participation. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground level and help create a true community designed and inspired space.

This work is made possible by the Knight Foundation.
