Event description

Netwalking Presents: Off the Beaten Path: Exploring Homegrown Approaches to Developing Thriving, Inclusive Communities

We create events to meet and learn locally while walking.

We maximize your time and be the most effective, energetic, productive, and have authentic, extraordinary experiences, shared.

Our monthly series of Netwalks promote local businesses and community vitality by combining wellness, engagement, and creativity on a 2-mile relaxed leisure paced walk for all fitness levels in different walkable neighborhoods. We want you to feel happier, healthier, and more connected to your internal and external community.

We provide opportunities to meet your neighbors fostering deeper connections (we facilitate conversation), help you explore and discover the vibrancy of the neighborhood through meeting local businesses owners and creatives, and walk and talk with our speakers.

Netwalking changes the power dynamic - walking outside is a shared space and helps break down barriers.

You will walk and talk with our speakers, fellow Netwalkers, shared learning, network with attendees, meet founders or general managers of local businesses and explore Anacostia.
