Course Description:
This workshop highlights awareness and understanding regarding the development of everyone’s personal growth and behavior as determined by his/her innate strengths, life experiences, family influences, and environment. Participants will learn how to use the well-known therapeutic instruments, The Trauma Egg and The Circles of Intimacy, Responsibility, and Impact.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
1. Learn what the Murray Method is and why it works.
2. Learn about Marilyn Murray’s personal and professional transformation.
3.Understand the global impact of trauma-informed therapy
4.Identify and understand workaholism and Codependency
5. Learn how to utilize therapeutic instruments, The Trauma Egg, and The Circles of
Intimacy, Responsibility, and Impact.
Our Presenter:
Rebekah Chovanec is an LCSW-C who has experience working with sexual trauma, difficult family dynamics, and personality disorders. She has been working with children, families, and adults for 10 years in many different settings, such as homeless shelters, elementary schools, churches, and in offices. Her goal is to provide psychoeducation about trauma to her clients while also making them feel safe and comfortable during their healing journey.

Course completion requirements: Social workers and Professional Counselors must attend the entire course and complete a course evaluation to be eligible for CE credit.
Certificates of completion will be emailed within 7 business days of course completion.
