About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

This class is a great opportunity for those who already understand the benefits of a plant-based diet but are looking for ways to enjoy healthy holidays with family and friends. This class will cover strategies, tools and recipes to help you make your holiday meals and eating through the holiday seasons successful.

The topics in the class will include:

  • Healthy Plate and Holiday Traps - Fat, Sugar and Salt, Cravings
  • Divided Kitchen Prep/Planning - how to prep less to serve more, pivot key ingredients and kitchen tools to simplify prep
  • Groundrules - how to stay in your lane, avoid drama and just maybe inspire interest
  • Bring it - How to leave your home without leaving your commitment to good health
  • Alcohol and Dessert - What you need to know
  • Recipes and Tasting - Not talking turkey main dishes for 'turkey' day, what can I bring, easy dessert
  • Group sharing - bring favorite holiday recipe ideas (and sources)
  • Giving back - great volunteer activity to share plant-based love with those in need

In this class, attendees learn all of this while enjoying cooking demonstrations, tasting delicious, healthful dishes and taking home useful class materials and recipes, all in a supportive group setting. This class is limited to 6 participants and pre-registration is required.

The class is based on the principles of living Whole Food Plant-Based Low Fat Lifestyle to slow stop and even reverse many common health conditions by making better food choices, especially during the holidays. This assumes a basic level of plant-based knowledge and picks up where my other Food for Life and Starch Solution classes and Eat to Heal Health Coaching programs have left off.

What is the exact address for the class?

The class will be held in Frederick Maryland. Exact location will be sent to confirmed participants via email 1 week prior to class.
