Laurie Courage, Encouraging Greens Inc

Laurie Courage is a Certified Plant-Based Nutrition Educator and Health Coach and founder of Encouraging Greens Inc. She helps people on the brink of a health crisis restore their health and enjoy an energetic life for years to come by helping them understand what and how to eat, offering both personalized health and wellness coaching programs and group nutrition/cooking classes on Long Island.

Laurie studied nutrition with several leading doctors and bio-medical researchers who are all experts on the link between food choices and health to learn about the evidence-based science behind plant-based nutrition. She has certificates from several leading plant-based nutrition programs: Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Foundation // Certified Food For Life Educator with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) // Starch Solution Certification Course Graduate from Dr. McDougall’s Health and Medical Center.// Certified Diet and Lifestyle Intervention Practitioner and completed several courses in the Nutrition Educator Program through the Wellness Forum Institute for Health Studies // Graduate of the Rouxbe Professional Plant-Based Chef Certification Program // Studied at the Natural Gourmet Institute // Certified Health and Wellness Coach with over 20 years of coaching and mentoring experience // Member of the American College for Lifestyle Medicine // Whole Kids Foundation Healthy Teachers Program instructor // Whole Food Plant-Based Certified Provider via WFPB.org.
