Introduction to American Sign Language

Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in Fountain Square (Indianapolis, IN)

When: March 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27, April 1, 3, 8, and 10, 2019 (six weeks)

Start the new year by learning a new language. Join us for a fun class with Heather as she teaches the basics of American Sign Language, also known as ASL.

This six-week course will meet twice per week for an hour and thirty minutes. Students will have the opportunity to learn greetings and farewells, introductions, basic conversational skills, make small talk, and learn other everyday vocabulary.

Students will have the opportunity to share with us why they want to learn the language, so that we may tailor the class to the needs of the students.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You must be at least 18 years of age.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

You may park along Shelby or Hoyt Street. There is free parking.

What can I bring into the event?

You may bring a notebook and something to write with.
