LA River Cleanup at Sepulveda Basin – Hosted by LA River Expeditions 8/2

LA River Expeditions is proud to host our annual LA River Cleanup, a powerful community event dedicated to restoring and protecting one of Los Angeles’ most vital natural resources. As the organization that championed public access to the LA River and helped secure its protection under the Clean Water Act, we remain deeply committed to advocacy, education, and hands-on stewardship.

This year, we’ll once again be launching our fleet of kayaks to clean various stretches of the LA River. Multiple teams will be deployed to focus on different zones, both on the water and along the riverbanks. Kayaks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who wish to participate on the river. Others are welcome to join us at base camp or help clean the areas surrounding the launch site.
