Third Place Books welcomes John Scalzi to our Lake Forest Park location for a conversation about his new book The Shattering Peace, the highly anticipated seventh book in the Old Man's War series. Tickets are required in advance.

- If you purchase a book-bundled ticket but are unable to attend the event, your book will be placed on hold at our Lake Forest Park store. You may request to have your book transferred to our Ravenna or Seward Park neighborhood stores.
Copies of The Shattering Peace and other books by John Scalzi will be available for purchase at the store. This event will include a public signing and time for audience Q&A. Sustain our author series by purchasing a copy of the featured book in advance!

About The Shattering Peace. . .
For a decade, peace has reigned in interstellar space. A tripartite agreement between the Colonial Union, the Earth, and the alien Conclave has kept the forces of war at bay, even when some would have preferred to return to the fighting and struggle of former times.
